| Here are some
winter photos of our new home. We are enjoying Loudoun County, and can't wait for
the spring blossoms to appear. |
 |
 |
| This
is our house and Lowes Island Blvd., which is how you get to our little street. We
really like these street lights. Below: a few blocks from us is the Country
Club. At the end of the road, you get this view of the Potomac. There are
several trails, including this one that winds next to the golf course. |
 |
| There
are many interesting trails nearby, including a 45-mile paved trail with bridges and
overpasses (below) |
 |
| This
area is very new and also very old. The architecture is a mix of Georgian Colonials
and a sort of Art Deco meets Gothom City Modern Look. Everything is very clean and
fresh. Below are some sites in nearby towns... a view of the Shenandoah taken just
west of here, the Herndon Library, and turkey that received a presidential pardon (he
lives near us, ironically, in "Frying Pan Park"). |
 |
| We live near
Algonkian Park, where you can boat across the Potomac. Or, for a simpler way to
relax, we can just enjoy our jacuzzi tub. This is Tom's favorite part of the
house!!! |
